CLASS OF 2009 Student & Parent Night - Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 6:30 pm in the Knowledge Room. Valuable information about scholarships, college applications, financial aid, Bright Futures and graduation requirements will be discussed. Please RSVP by Wednesday, Sept 24 to lkandefe@ircc.edu or 419-5750.

BRIGHT FUTURES: ALL students were given a 2009 Bright Futures Scholarships pamphlet at orientation. The “Verification of Receipt” portion needs to be signed by student and/or parent and returned ASAP. There is a box at Mrs. Guyton’s desk and outside of Mrs. Kandefer’s office where these can be deposited. There are also extra pamphlets if yours has been misplaced.

COLLEGE ADVISING: If you are planning to attend IRSC or any other 4 year public college in Florida, you need to meet with one of the IRSC Academic Advisors before November 1st. Advisors are Leigh Chappell (cchappel@ircc.edu) or Angela Bayer (abayer@ircc.edu) and they are located in the A Building. They are there to help make your transition to any college smooth and also help you plan your Spring Semester. This is critical for any seniors who are likely to earn their A.A. Degree this year.

Seniors: See Mrs. Kandefer for the Standard Scholarship Application. If you have already picked this up, they need to be returned to Mrs. Kandefer ASAP!
